AF555 is a commonly used probe exhibiting bright red fluorescence (Ex/Em = 555nm/565nm) that is brighter, less prone to quenching, and produces a lower background, compared to most other red fluorescent probes. Its fluorescence spectrum is close to Cy3.

This high-quality secondary antibody is obtained by immunizing donkeys with purified rabbit IgG, followed by affinity purification and adsorption to human, mouse, and rat IgG.

The recommended dilution factor of this product for immunofluorescence staining is 1:500. However, the dilution factor can be optimized for different antigens and antibodies between 1:200-1:1000.

This product allows for 50 assays when 1 ml of this product diluted at 1:500 is used for each assay, and 150-250 additional assays if the diluted antibody will be reused.
