Description

L-Glutamine (100X) is provided at a concentration of 200mM, which is sterile and can be directly used for cell culture and other applications.

As an essential amino acid, L-glutamine is a crucial component of culture media that serves as a major energy source for cells.

Packing List:
Cat. No. Product Name Pack Size
C0212 L-Glutamine (100X) 100ml
– Instruction Manual 1 copy

Storage Conditions:

Store at -20℃ for up to 1 year.

Precautions:

L-glutamine is unstable and must be stored at -20°C. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles may result in slight turbidity and the formation of small precipitates. Upon first use, it is recommended to thaw it at 25℃ or 4°C. If precipitates are present, incubate the solution in a 37℃ water bath for a short time and shake it appropriately to ensure complete dissolution. Afterwards, aliquot the solution into small tubes and freeze it at -20℃. For subsequent use, any precipitates in the solution should also be completely dissolved through incubation at 37℃.

L-glutamine is unstable in culture solution and can be decomposed by about 50% after one week at 4°C. Culture solutions spiked with L-glutamine should be reintroduced with L-glutamine when stored at 4°C for more than two weeks.

The more stable L-Ala-Gln (100X) (C0211) is recommended. It is considered the best dipeptide alternative to L-glutamine and is extremely stable in both 100X solution and cell cultures.

Use this product aseptically to avoid microorganism contamination of the solution.

This product is for R&D only. Not for drug, household, or other uses.

For your safety and health, please wear lab coat and disposable gloves during the operation.
